Ford’s lineup of commercial vehicles is getting another heavy hitter for drivers around Parsippany and Morristown NJ. In a recent press release, Ford pulled back the curtain on the F-600, a medium-duty truck that offers an immense amount of flexibility and the capability of a Class 6 truck contained within the body of a Class 5 Super Duty. The F-600 has a GVWR of 22,000 pounds, which is impressive considering it has the size to fit into smaller spaces that trucks that typically have this kind of power can’t.

Mark Buzzell, Ford’s director of fleet, lease, and remarketing operations cited the company’s practice of listening to their customers as a basis behind the F-600’s design. "For 34 years, Ford has consistently sold more commercial vehicles every year than any other manufacturer because we listen to our customers then get to work developing the products and technologies they need," he said.

Another notable addition to Ford’s commercial vehicle line is that every truck will now come standard with 4G LTE wi-fi that can connect up to ten devices. This way, owners will be able to stay connected to important business on job sites everywhere from Livingston NJ to West Orange NJ.

In terms of power, the F-600 will have three engine options, a 6.2-liter V8, a brand-new 7.3-liter V8, and the 6.7-liter Power Stroke diesel V8. Ford isn’t revealing anything concrete about the power numbers yet, but did say that the new 7.3-liter V8 “generates more torque and power than the 6.8-liter V10 engine it replaces.”

The 2020 Ford F-600 will be available at our dealership in East Hanover sometime in mid-2020 but can be pre-ordered by all of our customers from Fairfield NJ to Orange NJ as soon as early 2020.
